There are Moments in life that we remember. Those Moments choose the threads in the weave of our lives. They characterize and determine us. One of my Moments was the meeting with a random picture of two spirals. Side by side, galactic and molecular one, with their universal harmony, awakened a deep-rooted, centuries of civilization unquenched desire to peek into the source of life, to discover the mechanisms that define and move us, making up what we are - a single particles in the general complex and wonderful harmony of the universe.

To ask, to discover, to conclude, to act.  For ourselves, and for the benefit of others. This is the essence of science. Science woven of many beauties, of sharp purposefulness and eternal challenges. However, also unbreakably paired with serious and hard work, with great disappointments and ever-present suspicion. In this complex network, there is one tiny spark that must not be forgotten. SCIENCE IS, ABOVE ALL, A GAME. If we forget the play, we irreversibly lose a part of authenticity and forget the true motives for what we do. Therefore, in my approach to scientific work I'm trying, whenever is possible, not to lose this sparkling, cheerful moment. Accordingly, these web pages are aso a mosaic of serious and cheerful, like the science and life itself.
